Mike Cazzola is a registered physiotherapist in Guelph, born and raised in the community he proudly serves. As a physiotherapist in Guelph, Mike provides evidence-based care focused on sports injury rehabilitation, concussion management, vestibular therapy, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. He works with individuals of all ages and activity levels from the general population to developing and competitive athletes helping patients recover efficiently, move confidently, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Graduated in 2019, Mike has continued to gain clinical experience and has a background as a professional athlete, Mike brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to injury rehabilitation. He completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, Scotland while simultaneously competing as a professional hockey player in the Elite Ice Hockey League. Balancing graduate-level physiotherapy training with high-performance sport sharpened his clinical judgment and deepened his understanding of recovery timelines, workload management, return-to-play decision-making, and long-term injury prevention.

Over a five-year professional hockey career spanning the AHL, ECHL, EIHL, and Italy, Mike experienced firsthand the physical and psychological demands of elite sport. He also played Junior A lacrosse and completed a marathon, giving him a broad perspective on strength training, endurance performance, and recovery across multiple sports. This background allows him to connect with athletes and active adults navigating both acute injuries and persistent pain conditions.
